Ken is another veteran of the club who started out in Hydroplane racing with'Rasputin' and has since diversified his arsenal of raceboats with the purchase of the blown alcohol displacement outfit 'Insanity'. Having teamed up with both Jamie Reu and Neil Laundy, Ken remains actively and most enthusiastically involved in the sport and in multiple classes.
Ken has gained what some would call a cult following with numerous supporters from his riverland hometown Murray Bridge and beyond following him and his boats to each race meeting. The move into unlimited racing has netted some respectable race finishes, much to the delight of his followers. "The Mob" wear their black team shirts with pride, and eagerly await their next sighting of one of Ken's boats on the water. Make no mistake, when the boat racing is on in SA, the boys from the bush will be back in town.
