Borg scores championship lead in his maiden season

In just his second race meeting in the brand new tunnel 'Love to be Blown' Borg, just 8 years of age, found himself in his first ever championship lead in the Formula Future Division.
Finishing second in every race only to the blue TAFE sponsored boat 'Twister' driven competently by newcomer Joel Roe, Borg has accumulated 21 points to take the lead ahead of Braydon Amato who did not compete on the weekend.
A pity the lead comes with no prize money for the youngster- he misjudged his return to the pit area after the final race and drove it past his crew and up the boat ramp leaving some scratches on the new hull.
"It's not a big deal if you're a boat builder' commented Borg's father Dean after inspecting the damage.
Nicolas declined to comment when asked about his run to the top.
