Our very own Blown Alcohol Displacement World Champion Brian McCosker has officially entered into the B.A.D Boat SHOWDOWN.
It seems another opportunity to test himself against one of the best drivers from the USA (Tony Scarlata) has gotten McCosker pumped up, and he will certainly be keen to find his winning form again.
"I'm just so excited" McCosker said.
"I'm really keen to have a better weekend's racing than we had at Mildura.
"Another chance to race against Americas best is certainly something that I'm looking forward to."
McCosker took the honours in the U.I.M World Challenge back in 2007 and claimed the number one spot in world displacement racing, but has since been in somewhat of a form slump and hasn't been attending as many race meetings compared to usual.
Despite having a troublesome weekend at Mildura, the 18'6" ChildsPlay 'Liberty' looked as quick as ever and was level pegging with the likes of 'The Real Thing' and 'Kryptonite', and easily qualified for the Marj Watson final.
Having won the first B.A.D Boat SHOWDOWN back in 1995, crowds can expect McCosker to be doing everything in his power to hold the title and regain his reputation as being the number one contender from around the country, and indeed the world.
