 Brett Sheppard has added yet another proven racing combination to the SHOWDOWN list of entries, and the field of competition is already shaping up as one of the best the Adelaide Speedboat Club has played host to.
When you throw a 2 time Australasian Champion into a mix already containing the B.A.D World Champion, the most recent Australian B.A.D Champion, plus a World Record holder all the way from the USA- you know you're on the verge of something more than spectacular.
With so many quality competitors the importance of a good qualifying time in the hot laps has never been greater. Being the professional he is, Sheppard knows that he needs to push as hard as possible for that pole position.
Several head to head races against South Aussie teams 'The Real Thing' and 'Agent Orange' has shown how much difference the inside line can make, and if Sheppard does qualify in pole 1 he will be hard to catch.
One would expect Sheppards friend Wayne Hodgson and Rod Cooney to follow suit and enter the SHOWDOWN also- time will tell.
