Brian McCosker - We Salute You.
Australian powerboat racing has suffered a great loss with the sudden death of Brian McCosker at the hands of his B.A.D boat 'Liberty' at Taree in New South Wales.
Arguably the most successful racer ever seen, and certainly the most innovative displacement boat racer to ever grace the circuit - he is a true legend of the sport.
Brian's accolades are second to none and reflect the relentless dedication he had for the sport which he loved so much.
"Cos" will be sorely missed, and at Adelaide we will always remember his winning performances in the Dorwin Gold Cup and BAD Boat Showdown and he will remain part of our club's history forever.
Our deepest condolences go to Brian's family and friends and may they find comfort knowing that his legacy will always have a presence amongst the boat racing fraternity, and will never be forgotten.
May he rest in peace.
