A good turnout marks the inaugural 'burning of the fire' at the ASBC

It may have been just another Friday night at the club house but on this Winter evening it was indeed an historic occasion with the very first 'burn' of the newly installed fire.
Club patrons enjoyed the cozy warmth along with plenty of beverages and in fact the fire worked so well that cold beer & wine was in order to keep cool!
Having recently turned 'straight-edge', club treasurer Trevor Stanley manned the bar all night and ensured the drinks kept flowing while our other regular barman Jeff Stunell got up to some mischief on the other side of the beer taps.
Unfortunately festivities overtook our aims to discuss the club's future but I'm sure discussions can continue on the open forum where everyone can have a say.
A big thank you to everyone who came down to support the club and everyone who helped cater for guests.
