PROFORMANCE (Dean Borg)
The Proformance team go into the Showdown perhaps a little on the back foot. Having suffered a rather big engine 'let go' in testing for the Dorwin, the team probably hasn't had the time on the water they might have wished for with their new hull. However, the Borg family take pride in doing things 'their way' and will be gearing up to put on a very good display of their boat building and engineering skills at the Showdown.
Reports are that the new hull is fast and handles very well so the only question is, will the new engine give them any headaches? Lets hope not!
Expect the Proformance crew to be one team doing some serious time on the water on Saturday's 'test and tune' and if they can get the new 'rig' tuned and  sorted, they may provide more than a few headaches to the opposition come Sunday afternoon.
