RIVAL (John Cross)
Many well credentialed observers of this sport regard John Cross as 'THE BEST' BAD Boat driver in this Country if not in fact the world. He is simply a master of his craft and his 'prop walking' style is something to behold. It is truly heart in your mouth stuff and something that you don't forget quickly. It is breathtaking, frightening and inspiring all at the same time.
As for the Rival Boat(s), either one is ridiculously fast and if there is anything against the absolutely awesome pieces of machinery it is the fact that they have had their share of reliability issues in the past. Something so highly strung in the horsepower department always has the potential to come unstuck. However, when the boat is running strong, few other craft in the BAD Boat world can match it….iIt is that good! Any boat that can run Liberty (Brian McCosker) down over 2 laps after a 1st corner spin, or head the new MADNESS boat has serious horsepower and a driver not afraid to use all of it!
IF, the Rival crew can get it, and keep it, together for the Showdown, few if any will match it for speed or the driving abilities of Mr. John Cross.
 As an added bonus, it will be something to see, THE BEST from Australia taking on THE BEST from the USA. You'd be crazy to miss this!!
