THE BOSS (Tim May)
Current Adelaide BAD Boat Champion who has collected some scalps of a few big name teams so far this season. Other smaller hulled boats can suffer in the wake of the big 21 footers these days but this deep V hulled boat cuts through the chop and can turn a whole lot better than its larger counterparts. The small block chev is producing excellent horsepower and gave Unleashed a run for its money at the Dorwin Gold Cup in April.
The team has suffered from minor 'gremlins' in the past which has robbed them of higher placing’s but seem to have this all sorted just at the moment. Will be a very big ask for the team to win this one, but everyone who has raced these guys before know that they are going to come out with guns blazing and they quite like the 'underdog' tag. One thing is for sure..... they won't go down without a fight.
With rain falling across South Australia recently, well liked and respected driver/farmer Tim May is likely to be doing cartwheels just at the moment and could well be in the right frame of mind to be doing some raining on a few other peoples 'parades' himself.
This is another local boat on home turf that could be a big winner in the 'hot lap'qualifying through turning ability alone!
