TUFF E NUFF (Dave Clark)
The ‘Tuff E Nuff’ team confirmed their enthusiasm for the Showdown by being the first team to nominate and after very strong performances at Mildura, who could blame them. They went to Mildura with 2 complete engines and obviously meant business and proved that they have a very fast and reliable package. The second engine was not required and the weekend ended on a high with a second place finish in the Riverside trophy on a course far more suited to the tunnel boat winner of Craig Bailey.
Dave Clark and his crew would have come away from Mildura very satisfied and any one that hasn't checked the youtube footage of 'Crossy's' drive of the big blue boat should.....NOW!
It will show you that this machine still has the potential to win big races and if Dave Clark can take inspiration from his old sparring partner ‘Crossy’, all competitors at the Showdown would be well advised not to underestimate this team.
Proven to run strong race after race. Is it 'Tuff E Nuff'....time will obviously tell but I imagine Dave and his crew would say ....HELL YES!
