No K-88 at the racing but she still drew the crowds

If you were among those curious as to the whereabouts of Adelaide's one and only K boat, rest assured owner Paul Palazzo was busy promoting the sport.

Drawing crowds larger than seen at the racing yesterday, K-88 has been stationed at the Extreme Horsepower show awing passers by and surprising those who have never experienced the noise of a blown alcohol engine.

What's more, Palazzo's pride and joy took home the award for best boat at the show- a testament to those involved in its production.

All show and no go you might say? We all know the boat has the goods in the looks AND performance department, plus with so many veteran drivers on the sidelines at the moment who knows- maybe K-88 could be gracing South Australian waters sooner than we expect.
